Well some of us were talking about satanist , end of the world and stuffs yesterday & since i got nothing to do and the blog needs a post i decided to post my views on the predicted solar storm that is SUPPOSED to happen in 2012 .

After reading and probing on my own , i have to come to conclude that i dun have a conclusion. Firstly that it should happen.A GRIM prediction of a world teetering on the edge of apocalypse has come, not from the lips of soothsayers or lunatics, but from space scientists. In a report funded by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (Nasa) and issued by the US National Academy of Sciences earlier this year, space scientists warned of a massive solar storm wreaking havoc on Earth in 2012.
A solar storm - essentially plasma balls spewing from the surface of the sun - can distort the Earth’s magnetic field. A particularly big one can destroy the tens of thousands of expensive and hard-to-build transformers in power grids worldwide. This will plunge major cities like Singapore into blackouts, which are expected to last months, or even years, as new transformers are painstakingly manufactured.
Meanwhile, with no power, modern life grinds to a standstill. In the first moments of this catastrophe, trains will collide and planes will crash, as their communications systems fail. Satellites will crash back to Earth like meteors. Hospitals, with their life-sustaining support systems, will see some of the most urgent needs at first.
But eventually, millions may die from hunger and thirst. With no power, food cannot be processed or delivered. Water cannot be pumped from reservoirs into homes. Back-up generators will help, but only for a few days before their fuel runs out.
As sewage systems fail, diseases will break out. Horses will replace cars, the financial system will collapse and, in a silver lining of sorts, there will certainly be no more e-mails for you to clear.

There's the biblical proof. For those who trust science more then they trust their faith, here are some evidence.
The next peak of the solar storm is in the year 2012, it would be the strongest of all recorded for the past 4oo years.
Now it shouldn't happen.
The biblical reasoning.
It should be 7 years of tribulation, which means mankind is supposed to go through 7 years, not 3yrs and then instant death. Some might argue that it isn't instant death as the aftermath of the solar storm would be climate changes etc. i won't bore you with the details but the estimate that it would take around 3 months before the world would be wiped out, and even with my lower than average maths scores i know that 3 months is no where near 7 years.
Scientific reasoning.
It is true that the solar storm is reaching its peak at 2012, but according to some experts, the sun is still too young to produce such a massive solar storm, that is strong enough to cripple the Earth. Sure that it will wreck some power lines, smash some satellites, but take it as the end of the world is kinda far fetched. It has been concluded by some that the it isn't possible for the sun to produce such a killer flare. short and sweet. Some people actually believe that planet X (go read up if u dunno wat it is) actually is part of the solar flare which almost made be gawked in amazement of their stupidity. one is from the sun and the other supposedly far out in space. there is no link. Planet X personally is a complete hoax. It was said to reach Earth and OBVIOUSLY it hasn't cause as much as i can tell i'm still breathing, eating, sleeping & shitting. over the years 3 mysterious sightings of objects in space has been sighted all at different parts of the Solar system, but people with great leaps of imagination managed to somehow convince other people with great leaps of imagination (which they say is scientific proof/hypothesis or whatever crap) that the 3 objects are the same which is none other than .... planet X. by finding average speed like all of us know, its total distance over total time, they managed to calculate that it hit earth at 2003 to their utter dissappointment they were wrong.
well i'm not jumping to any conclusions just yet, i intend to read up more on this. it definitely makes an interesting topic to debate about. Bear in mind that what is going to happen is all written in the bible, we can try to interpret it's meaning but that doesn't mean it will be right. Who are we as mere humans to understand God's plan for us, the bible said that we wouldn't know the exact timing however there will be a sign. All we can do now is watch and pray.
