Hello lovelies !

Just want to ask all of you to hang on! One more week plus and everything will be over!(:
For those who didnt do well for this week papers, dont be discouraged! Remember this verse,

Just want to share something. heh. While i was doing my maths paper, i was stuck at one question, and i was left with ten mins. It was a ten marks plus question. So i told God, please help me with question. I cant possibly leave it blank. And so, i felt that there was a voice telling me on what to do. I really thanked God. Because without His help, there goes my ten marks..

For those who did well, remember to thank God and ask Him to continue to watch over you (=

Can hear my voice from bedok? haha! Anyway, i've something to share from my heart and it's really really important. :) Would appreicate that you give me yr undivided attention for 3-5mins.

Btw, do you know what is one of the impt roles of a leader sometimes? It is to be "long-winded". haha! Time for me to help us recollect whatever we talked about at the start of the year and thruout. :)

Do you remember that this year, not only are we Destined for Greatness, but we want to go achieve that? I would like you to ask yourself the qns that the song of this blog goes, "Who am i?". When i ask myself that, i remember that i am 1 stone, needing 4 other stones.

If we look back the many months, there hasn't been any noticeable "greatness" we've achieved together as a cell. And i would like to remind us of our vision, our prayers, our fasting, our teachings, our talkings. Imagine after all that, we give up at the end? Isn't it a waste?

We've done the "sowing", now shall we do the "reaping"? I pray that God will instill into us the burden to reach out to our frens and not be indifferent to this.

If we want our youth church to grow, we've to start in our cell. Shu En and myself need ALL of us to work together as a team. And i can promise you that if we press on and achieve greatness, there will be this unexplainable joy in us!!

Oh man, i'm so excited even as i'm typing this. Shall we press on? Remember, let's do it because Jesus has done it. :)

Well some of us were talking about satanist , end of the world and stuffs yesterday & since i got nothing to do and the blog needs a post i decided to post my views on the predicted solar storm that is SUPPOSED to happen in 2012 .

According to The Electric New Paper:

A GRIM prediction of a world teetering on the edge of apocalypse has come, not from the lips of soothsayers or lunatics, but from space scientists. In a report funded by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (Nasa) and issued by the US National Academy of Sciences earlier this year, space scientists warned of a massive solar storm wreaking havoc on Earth in 2012.

A solar storm - essentially plasma balls spewing from the surface of the sun - can distort the Earth’s magnetic field. A particularly big one can destroy the tens of thousands of expensive and hard-to-build transformers in power grids worldwide. This will plunge major cities like Singapore into blackouts, which are expected to last months, or even years, as new transformers are painstakingly manufactured.

Meanwhile, with no power, modern life grinds to a standstill. In the first moments of this catastrophe, trains will collide and planes will crash, as their communications systems fail. Satellites will crash back to Earth like meteors. Hospitals, with their life-sustaining support systems, will see some of the most urgent needs at first.

But eventually, millions may die from hunger and thirst. With no power, food cannot be processed or delivered. Water cannot be pumped from reservoirs into homes. Back-up generators will help, but only for a few days before their fuel runs out.

As sewage systems fail, diseases will break out. Horses will replace cars, the financial system will collapse and, in a silver lining of sorts, there will certainly be no more e-mails for you to clear.

After reading and probing on my own , i have to come to conclude that i dun have a conclusion. Firstly that it should happen.

First the biblical reason,

"The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth.[a] And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up."

And great hail from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone about the weight of a talent. Men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, since that plague was exceedingly great.

“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”

There's the biblical proof. For those who trust science more then they trust their faith, here are some evidence.

The next peak of the solar storm is in the year 2012, it would be the strongest of all recorded for the past 4oo years.

Now it shouldn't happen.

The biblical reasoning.

It should be 7 years of tribulation, which means mankind is supposed to go through 7 years, not 3yrs and then instant death. Some might argue that it isn't instant death as the aftermath of the solar storm would be climate changes etc. i won't bore you with the details but the estimate that it would take around 3 months before the world would be wiped out, and even with my lower than average maths scores i know that 3 months is no where near 7 years.

Scientific reasoning.

It is true that the solar storm is reaching its peak at 2012, but according to some experts, the sun is still too young to produce such a massive solar storm, that is strong enough to cripple the Earth. Sure that it will wreck some power lines, smash some satellites, but take it as the end of the world is kinda far fetched. It has been concluded by some that the it isn't possible for the sun to produce such a killer flare. short and sweet. Some people actually believe that planet X (go read up if u dunno wat it is) actually is part of the solar flare which almost made be gawked in amazement of their stupidity. one is from the sun and the other supposedly far out in space. there is no link. Planet X personally is a complete hoax. It was said to reach Earth and OBVIOUSLY it hasn't cause as much as i can tell i'm still breathing, eating, sleeping & shitting. over the years 3 mysterious sightings of objects in space has been sighted all at different parts of the Solar system, but people with great leaps of imagination managed to somehow convince other people with great leaps of imagination (which they say is scientific proof/hypothesis or whatever crap) that the 3 objects are the same which is none other than .... planet X. by finding average speed like all of us know, its total distance over total time, they managed to calculate that it hit earth at 2003 to their utter dissappointment they were wrong.

well i'm not jumping to any conclusions just yet, i intend to read up more on this. it definitely makes an interesting topic to debate about. Bear in mind that what is going to happen is all written in the bible, we can try to interpret it's meaning but that doesn't mean it will be right. Who are we as mere humans to understand God's plan for us, the bible said that we wouldn't know the exact timing however there will be a sign. All we can do now is watch and pray.

as requested by wai yee , some of the guys in our cell are considering giving tuition on Monday , Wednesday & Saturday . They are namely , zephan , daryl & me . James might be included too . zephan will be teaching math , daryl any of the 3 sciences and i'll be giving english tuition . all subjects will be twice a week , $6.25 per hour . so it will be $50 a month for 2 lessons a week . there is also a referal system , for more info pls contact me at 98142779 .

Hahaha why no one update! Tsktsk don't have me this blog can't live HAHAHAH Joke, joke :P Hmm since no one updates, I shall!

Things I've learnt:

you know guys, as i was talking to my friends a few days back, i described onestone as being my pride and joy. and its really true! everytime i see how much you guys have grown, i thank God for your lives!

The Sinner's Journal II

And there he was,
in my life.
Finally,
someone who cares so much for me.
Who is he?
He is the one who knows you inside out.
The one who loves us so much,
that he had to trade the life of his son,
and for wad?
For us to treat him like dirt.
For us to say he doesnt exsist.
Is it fair for him?
I guess not.

And here we are,
his followers.
Do we dare call ourselves that?
Yeah of course we dare.
But do we dare live our life in example of his?
Sure most will say "Of Course!"
In fact almost all will say
"Yeah why not?"
But will their actions show it?
I guess not.

So what are we really?
We have to decide.
He found me,
saved me,
and showed me love.
So much love I almost drowned,
but sometimes i ask myself.
"Where is my love?
My love to him?"
True I've given my offerings,
Talked with him.
But is that just a daily routine?
Or was it done out of love?
Is my love for him even up to
one out of infinite of the love he had gave me?
I guess not.

Leave that alone
.The darkness was once again beckoning.
How inviting,
I thought.
Let me immerse myself in it once more!
Fill me with hatred and lust!
But was that right?
I guess not.

He loved me so much,
and I say i love him too.
But when i stopped to think of what love meant,
it struck me.
I hardly loved him.
My love wasn't even enough to fill up a cup,
much less drown someone with it.
Do I know what love means?
I guess not.

Love,
is it something one would give up everything for?
No.
It is an action.
A simple action.
That enables one to give up everything,
just to get a chance to SEE,
the person he loves just for one more second.
Do I know what everything means?
I guess not.

Everything,
what does it mean?
Is it your latest gadgets?
How do You,
define everything?
It is simply,
Everything.
Everything you ever wanted,
ever gotten,
ever desired.
And in order to love?
These things got to go.
Everything is a summary,
of what you ask?
Everything is a summary,
of Every Worldy Possessions.
So, do you really love him?

Do You?
Love the very person!
That gave up everything.
Just so he could see you grow.
Just so he could see you love him back,
which many of us,
obviously,
failed at.
Just so he could see the world,
cursing and swearing with his name.
Just so he could see the people
he loved say he does not exsist.
Is it fair for him?
I guess not.

So for starters.
I'm going to start loving.
From him,
to the people he gave me,
friends,
families,
myself.
Your reflection is the most
important thing in your life.
Why?

Why?
You might ask.
Without your reflection,
there will be no You.
If we had no reflection,
there would be no us.
And that would mean no love.
He gave you a reflection,
to remind yourself that somewhere in that mirror.
There is a sense of longing for him.
Do I agree with myself?
I hope i do.

Who is this he?
This him?
The one who Loves you so much?
The one who Gave his only son.
Just so those he loved
would love him back,
and those he loved would criticise him.
Who is he?

He is the Almighty.
He is the Beginning,
and the End.
He is the Sole person in this world,
who loves you so so dearly.
He is my father.

His name is Jesus.
And he is my God.
And he is also yours.
You don't have a choice.
Whether you like it or not,
He will still love you.
Whether you love him or not,
He will still love you.
Thats why he wants you
to join him in heaven.

Need help getting there?
Only one simple thing you have to do.
Accept him as your Lord and Saviour.
And love him with all your heart.
The World need not go to hell.
We can still make it to Heaven.
Don't take my hand.
Take his.
And he will lead you home.

Home,
To Heaven.

The Sinner's Journal I

I've sinned to a point of no return,
and only God can release me of my burden.
Wandered off too far,
where heaven's no longer in sight,
only to lately realize my sorry plight.
Weak and fragile,
I sinned even more,
turning to violence and gore.
Lost the ability to love and forgive,
love into lust,
and vengeance grew out of forgiveness.

Till one day a bright light broke the silence of darkness,
and it swept through me,c
leansing me inside out,
and I knew at once,
what that was about.
God had found me,
and now I am going home.

Salvation was there,
staring right at me,
so close yet so far,
I could touch it,
but I could not.
For some reason I was not yet forgiven,
or so I thought.
And then I looked back and saw,
the devil's claw,
clinging on to me,
those devilish lies,
blinding me, crippling me.
And once again I was lost,
I lagged behind, unable to see.

Plunging into darkness,
i grabbed onto a hand,
a warm hand,
filled with all the love and joy in the world.
God had come back,
for me.
He dusted me, put me to my feet,
gave me clean clothing,
cleansed my of my sins,
and told me to just walk towards the light,
the Everlasting Light,
of Heaven.

And there he will be waiting,
he said.
And in the blink of an eye,
he was gone,
back to his throne,
where he continued to watch my every move.
Now all I had to do was to walk,
a long corridor of temptation.

Sure,
it was easy.
At first.
Occasionally I grew weary.
Slacked a lil'.
And even went back into the darkness.
But God's light shown so brightly and everlastingly.
Its was hard not to notice it,
and every time it just brings me back to the pathway to heaven.
So I carried on with my journey,

Sure,
life will pull me down,
temptation will drag me under,
the darkness will beckon yet again.
But Heaven's everlasting Light will shine down,
and light the path I am supposed to take.
A path that will lead me to others like me.

A path that lead me home.

A path,
To Victory.

march hols are coming and maybe we could have a cell bonding? any ideas? stayover, BBQ, etc.. or maybe even all in one.. pls state the dates which u r free so that i would be easier to plan, to make sure that all members are able to attend this cell bonding..

just wanted to share this really encouraging verse that i read during my QT! i'd encourage everyone to do the same when you come across sth nice you've learnt yea? :D

No matter what you're going through, know that God directs your steps and that he'll never ever let you fall!

also... please remember to PRAY! at any time of the day! (hurhur it rhymes)

i personally find it hardest to pray when im so busy and in a super LAZY/SIAN mood. but its actually during these times that i NEED to pray more. why? cos a relationship needs to be maintained! if i say i love God and i want to know him better.... how else can i do that except by talking to him?

we'll work on our prayer lives together yea!

I have decided to update our blog before it dies again! (and take a break from studying boo hoo)

Ps 119: 5-6 - Oh, that my actions would consistently reflect your principles! Then I will not be disgraced when I compare my life with your commands.

i love this verse cos it reminds me that PEOPLE ARE WATCHING how i live my life. do my actions align with the Bible, or does my lifestyle contradict the Bible?

remember that we're Jesus first youths! not only is God watching, our friends are too! and one of the best ways to tell your friends abt Jesus, is actually to show them how Jesus influences your life for the better.

i am very proud of all you people who have done your spiritual journals! the more you do, the more im proud of you =x HAHAHA kidding! you know guys, even ADULTS dont have this kind of discipline sometimes. so take pride in your journals, God delights in your faithfulness and diligence!
